Is the in-home assessment really free?
Yes — completely free, no pressure, no obligation. We spend about an hour at your home, see what you're working with, and talk through what you'd like fixed. If you want us to do the work, you get a firm, one-page quote before anything starts.
Do I have to pay a monthly fee to use my cameras?
No. Your footage is recorded and stored right in your own home, and viewing it from your phone is free — forever. Our optional Peace-of-Mind Plans cover service and monitoring for folks who want us on call, but your cameras work fully either way, plan or no plan.
We're not "tech people." Will we actually be able to use it?
That's exactly who we build for. One simple app, big clear controls, and patient in-person training — we sit with you until you're comfortable. And afterward you call us directly, never a call center.
Do you work with Starlink and rural internet?
Yes. A big part of our work is getting the most out of Starlink and rural connections — proper mounting, clean cabling, and a network that carries that speed through your whole property, outbuildings included.
How long does an installation take?
Most homes are finished in a day or two; larger properties with shops, gates, or docks can take longer. Your quote includes the timeline, so you'll know before we start.
Can you look after our house while we're gone for the winter?
Yes — that's our seasonal Winter Watch. Sensors keep an eye on freeze, water, power, and the doors around the clock from November through April, you get a phone call from us when something looks wrong, and we'll drive out to look in person — three on-site checks come with every season.
