Starlink, installed right — and carried across your whole property.
Starlink is everywhere in North Idaho — and most of the setups we see are mounted in the wrong spot and running on the little router that came in the box. We mount it properly for snow and trees, cable it cleanly, and build a network that delivers that speed to every room, the shop, and the dock.
Great satellite. Wrong install.
Starlink itself is excellent — but the speed only reaches you if the dish has a clear view of the sky and the network behind it is built for a real North Idaho property, not a city apartment. Two things hold most setups back:
- The dish is in the wrong place — too low, blocked by pines, or where snow and ice collect. It drops out exactly when you need it.
- It's running on the stock router — fine for one room, useless past a log wall, a metal roof, or out to the shop. You're paying for speed you never actually see.
We fix both: the right mounting location, clean cabling, and a professional network that spreads that Starlink speed everywhere.
Good fit if…
You just had Starlink installed and the Wi-Fi still won't reach the bedroom. Your dish sits on the ground or a low pole. Snow keeps knocking it offline. You need internet out to the shop, barn, or dock. Or you're building rural and want it done right from day one.
Built for North Idaho, top to bottom.
Mounted for snow & trees
We find the spot with a clear northern sky view — roof, pole, or a mast above the tree line — and mount it to shed snow and survive Panhandle winters.
Cabled cleanly
Proper weatherproof cable routing from the dish into the house — no wire draped across the roof or run through a cracked window.
Full-property Wi-Fi
Enterprise-grade equipment, wired in properly, carries the speed to every room — plus a strong wireless link out to the shop, barn, guest cabin, or dock.
Answers, before you even have to ask.
Can you make my existing Starlink reach the whole house?
Yes. Most Starlink setups run on the router in the box, which struggles past a room or two — especially through log walls and metal roofs. We keep your Starlink and build a proper network around it that carries the full speed to every room, the shop, and the dock.
Will Starlink work through the trees on my property?
Starlink needs a clear view of the northern sky. A big part of a good install is finding the right spot — roof, pole, or a mast above the tree line — so the dish stays connected through North Idaho's tall pines. We check the view before we mount anything.
Does snow knock Starlink offline in the winter?
The dish has a heater, but placement and mounting angle matter — a poorly located dish loads up with snow or ice. We mount for winter from the start, and it's exactly what our seasonal Winter Watch keeps an eye on for snowbirds.
Do you install Starlink for shops, barns, and outbuildings?
Yes. We run a wireless link or buried cable to bring reliable internet to the shop, barn, guest cabin, or dock — anywhere on the property the signal needs to reach.
What does a proper Starlink install cost?
Starlink optimization starts at $1,295 — that covers proper mounting, clean cabling, and integrating the dish into a network built for your property. Whole-home Wi-Fi and links to the shop or dock are quoted after a free assessment, and our starting prices are published on our pricing page, so you know the ballpark before anyone sets foot on your property.
Which areas do you serve for Starlink installation?
The Idaho Panhandle: Athol, Bayview, Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, Hayden, Post Falls, Rathdrum, Spirit Lake, and Harrison. Rural properties are our specialty — close but not on the list? Give us a call.
