Your privacy, in plain English.
We're in the business of looking after homes. That only works if you trust us — so here is exactly what we know about you, and what we never see.
What you share with us
When you call, text, or send the form on our contact page, we receive your name, your phone number, the general area your home is in, and whatever you tell us about what you need. We use it for exactly one thing: calling you back and preparing for your visit. We don't sell it, we don't share it, and we don't add you to marketing lists.
Texting (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number — by texting us, submitting our contact form, or becoming a customer — we may text you about your service: appointment confirmations and reminders, quotes and follow-ups, and Winter Watch or monitoring alerts. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Opting out of texts won't affect the rest of your service.
This website
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It sets a cookie and shows us anonymous patterns — how many visitors, which pages. It does not tell us who you are. Our contact form is delivered securely by our website host and goes only to us.
Your cameras, your footage
Your cameras record to equipment in your own home, on your own account. Your footage never sits on our servers, and we set the system up so we don't have standing access to your video. If you ever want our help reviewing something, you invite us in, we help, and you can close that door again the moment we're done.
What our monitoring actually sees
Winter Watch and our Peace-of-Mind plans run on alerts, not video: a temperature dropping, water where it shouldn't be, power going out, a door opening in a home that's supposed to be empty, or a piece of equipment that's stopped responding. We see that something needs attention — not what's happening inside your home.
